Recordings Page
The Recordings Page is the "Portal" to any and all customer issues - it let's you experience your product through a customer's eyes, quickly discover problems they faced, and properly pass that problem to management and engineering.
The Timeline
The timeline shows every customer's journey over the past 2 weeks in your product, split out by the devices the user was using. We did this because users have problems with a product at a given time, not in a "recording" of a specific tab. Our users were sick of scrolling through lists of "recordings" that lacks all temporal information.
List View
When you have not selected a user, the timeline bar is a zoomed-out and non-zoomable view of your user's product journey. This is supposed to give you a glancable view into the user and their journey in your product.
User-Selected View
Once you have selected a user, the timeline bar gets really interesting and usable! Here you can zoom in and find the moment your user experienced a problem in your product.
